Information Technology Program

 Students will learn the skills necessary to work in IT-related fields. Topics include cabling with copper and fiber optics, computer repair, and the fundamentals of computers.

Construction Technology Program

This program provides training in construction safety as it pertains to the OSHA 30 hours course for the construction Industry. This course will cover the basics of the construction industry (NCCER CORE) as well as more advanced hands-on training with fire-resistive construction materials such as brick, block, concrete, steel, and wood frame structures. The structural members of floor and roof systems are discussed as they relate to their intended purpose and what they do under live and dead loads while bearing the stress of fire and suppression activities. Openings such as windows, doors, skylights, and ventilation shafts will also be studied.

Pre-Engineering/Information Technology (IT) Academy

The academy is designed to introduce students to the growing career opportunities in the field of Information Technology and engineering. Students can take classes in digital and analog electronics, A+ computer repair and CISCO networking. Successful completion of the course sequence allows students to graduate from high school with the skills needed to begin a rewarding career in either Information Technology or Engineering. Certifications include Microsoft Office User Specialist, A+ Computer Repair, IC3, and CISCO.

Automotive Program

This program provides students with comprehensive training and hands-on experience working with automobiles. Students will have the ability to receive ASE certifications in the areas of automobile engines, suspension, and brakes.

Culinary Arts Program

This program provides students with comprehensive training and extensive hands-on experience working in a professional kitchen environment. Our commitment to our students is to provide a well-rounded culinary education, preparing our graduates to enter the workforce with extensive skills that will lead to their success in the industry. Emphasis is placed on food safety/ sanitation, product identification, knife skills, cooking methods, baking techniques, cold food preparation, and career and financial management.
