Freshman Summer Bridge Program
Hi Grady Families!
My name is Tarah Montalbano and I am the principal of Grady High School. I am very excited that your child will be attending Grady in the fall! We will be running a Freshman Bridge Program from Monday, July 10- Thursday, July 13 here at the school building. The program will be four days from 9:00 – 1:00. Students will have the opportunity to meet Grady staff, participate in CTE themed activities and get an introduction to core student leadership principles and our new Math curriculum. Students will also tour the building. Metro cards and lunch will be provided each day. Parents are also welcome to participate in building tours.

June 9th – Remote Learning
As you may have heard, the Chancellor has made tomorrow a remote instructional day due to the Air Quality in the city. Tomorrows instructional day will go as follows for students:
- Classes will take place synchronously via Google Classroom and Zoom on a normal bell schedule.
- Teachers will take period attendance in each classroom using the DOE Attendance tool
- For daily attendance, which is usually taken during 3rd period, a link will be posted by each teacher in their google classroom for students to click on and complete the survey.
- In some cases, we will have teachers absent for the day due to personal absences or professional development that teachers are scheduled for. In this case, teachers will post necessary information for students in their Google Classroom stream
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Thank you and stay safe.
