 **Please note that during a term that ends in a Regent exam, the Regent exam will count as 10% of the final grade

Physical Education Grading Policy

  • All students must be prepared to participate every day. A detailed contract with specific rules and regulations for Physical Education classes is distributed every September during the physical education class
  • Performance on Common Core written assignments will be graded according to the participation/preparation rubric, and will count toward each marking period grade

CTE Grading Policy

Students who successfully complete their CTE course sequences and certification exams are eligible for NYS Endorsed Diplomas, and are recognized nationally for their career readiness.

  • All CTE Activities, including skills demonstrated, tasks completed, teamwork and working to ability
  • Being prepared to work each day, including having a pen, pencil, calculator, notebook and shop uniform (including work boots)
The NYC Performance Test in ELA pre-test (taken in your English class in October) will count as 5% of the first marking period grade.
 The NYC Performance Test in ELA post-test (taken in your English class in April) will count as 5% of the final marking period grade
